Elmwood Strawberry Festival is including a FINE ART FAIR this year starting at 9 am - 6 pm on the square. The Fine Art Fair includes - Fine Art work, including photography, painting, sculpture, fiber arts, pastels, woodworking, jewelry and other media, will be displayed and available for sale. Several art demonstrations will also take place. The art fair will surround "The Pioneers" sculpture by Lorado Taft. A group of artists from central Illinois have been invited to participate this year.

Elmwood Fall Festival

Another attraction in Elmwood IL is the Elmwood Fall Festival, which is held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday after Labor Day.

Since 1933, the Elmwood Fall Festival has featured carnival rides, parade, food, craft booths, children's entertainment, and live entertainment.

Elmwood All Outdoors Show

The Elmwood All Outdoors Show will be held:

March 5-6, 2011 at Elmwood high school and grade school.

More than 130 vendors will be on hand displaying products and services related to hunting and fishing. There will also be a trophy deer display with up to 150 mounted deer heads, a trout fishing pond for youngsters and much more. Learn more at elmwoodalloutdoors.com or call (309) 231-6040.

Booths for the show cost just $50 and all proceeds

benefit the athletes and athletic programs at Elmwood High School. Last year the show raised more than $25,000 for athletics and the Elmwood Boosters Club.

 

Elmwood Tour of Homes

Enjoy a holiday tradition by attending the annual Elmwood Tour of Homes.

This year's event is on Sunday December 4th, from 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m

Tickets are $10.00 ea. available at Farmers State Bank or Jordan's, Mobil or at any of the homes the day of the tour.

We have 6 beautiful homes

Also open for tour is First Presbyterian Church at 208 N. Lilac & Elmwood Community Center on S. Althea. (No ticket required at these locations.)

Music: Reva Schoenwetter, a harpist from Knoxville will be providing music from 2-4 at the church.
